Chennai: The NASSCOM HR Summit will kick start tomorrow (21 July 2016) and end on 22 July 2016 (Friday) in Chennai. The theme of this year HR Summit is “Navigating Uncertain Waters: Industry is in flux. HR can deliver a success story”.  The HR Summit is the flagship event of NASSCOM for Human Resource professionals, functional leads and C-suite executives. This annual event will be attended by 650 participants through nearly 50 sessions taken up by 60 speakers, and workshops. The event will discuss on spotting, dissecting and deliberating on change waves which the industry faces periodically, and with unerring frequency.

Key HR issues and action plans that will be discussed to promote positive change in HR practices. The key speakers and senior industry thought leaders who are scheduled to deliver speeches are as followed: Rajeev Dubey, Group President (HR & Corporate Services),Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd; Daniel Martin Eckhart, Vice President, Community Management & Screenwriter, Swiss Re; Viren Prasad Shetty, SVP Strategy and Executive Director, Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd; Animesh Kumar, Head – HR, Brand & Foundation, IDFC Bank; Geetika Metha, Vice President – HR, Urban Ladder; Krish Shankar, EVP, Group Head – Human Resources, Infosys Limited; and many more.

The 2015 edition was about, “The Digital Highway HR’s Journey into the Future.” Digital as a disruptor hasn’t spared HR either. The degree of its impact is no less overwhelming, in comparison to other functions as well.

Currently, India’s real strength is in its people and demographic dividend is about people. Enabling them with the right skills levered by technology, will result in a more productive nation. The NASSCOM HR Summit will discuss and analysis this demographic dividend in a comprehensive manner.
