Mumbai: StackRoute, an initiative from NIIT to produce the world’s best full-stack programmers, has successfully created a talent pool of hundreds of Digital innovators for the IT industry in a short span of a year. The initiative has received an overwhelming response from the industry. Now, StackRoute will be shortly launching similar bootcamps around Machine Learning, Data Science and Big Data technologies.

StackRoute currently services three of the Top Indian IT Services firms in Bangalore, Chennai & Delhi NCR. Based on an immersive product development experience, the path–breaking program focuses on creating elite full-stack programmers who are at the core of Digital Transformation initiatives worldwide.

Currently, StackRouteTM bootcamps that are focused on the full-stack programming with the MEAN and MERN technology stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS / ReactJS and Node.js) are offered at Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi NCR. NIIT is also working on expansion plans so that in the near future these full-stack programmers are available to key product engineering and IT firms in major IT metro cities in India.

Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company is using the platform to upskill its technical talent. Mr. Rajan Kohli, Global Head and Senior Vice President, Wipro Digital said, “As consumers change digital behaviors faster than companies can adapt, our clients look to Wipro to provide agility, speed and scale to undertake human-centric digital transformation efforts. NIIT has been a key partner for us in attracting and training this talent to build the right mindset and technical knowhow to keep up with this evolving space.”

According to MIT Centre for Digital Business, 77% of organizations consider missing digital skills as the key hurdle to their transformation strategy. Therefore, Indian & Global IT Companies are investing heavily in building digital transformation skills to enable their clients transform digitally.

Mr. Rahul Patwardhan, CEO, NIIT Ltd said, “With a strong thrust on enabling the industry to digitally transform themselves, NIIT designed StackRouteTM to develop a technologically empowered workforce that helps chart a clear path towards digital transformation. This significant initiative is aligned to our strategy to play a leadership role in Digital Learning.”

In October 2015, NIIT launched a revolutionary initiative – StackRoute is truly a high end, specialised program offering, that takes a group of talented programmers screened through a rigorous selection process and turns them into high performance full-stack programmers that the industry needs urgently. The product has been developed in intense consultation with the industry, start-ups, product engineering companies and incubators, and is strongly endorsed by all the key industry stakeholders.
