Mumbai: Getting a seat in BTech courses in any Indian Institutes of Technology is one of the toughest tasks for aspirants. On the basis of JEE Advanced 2017 performance, nearly 11,000 candidates finally admitted to IITs for the academic year 2017-18.

Top Rank holders of IIT-JEE Advanced 2017 analysis reflects Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has produced the largest number of top rankers under Top 1000 Club among state boards. Out of top 1000 Rank Holders of JEE Advanced 2017 Exam, 107 students belong to Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education. Similarly, out of to top 500 Rankers, 54 candidates belong to Telangana State Board.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education stands second position in producing Top Rank holders in JEE Advanced 2017 Exam as 94 and 46 students figured among Top 1000 and Top 500 rank holders, respectively.

Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education emerges third position among state boards in producing Top Rank holders in JEE Advanced 2017 Exam.  A total number of 88 and 46 students from AP Board secured Top 1000 and Top 500 Rank, respectively in JEE Advanced 2017.

A total of 599 students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) figured among Top 1000 Ranks in JEE Advanced 2017. The CBSE has affiliated schools on a pan-India basis. The CBSE is not a state board.

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, with 25 students among Top 1000 rankers, secures the fourth place among state boards. Meanwhile, 21 students from Gujarat Secondary Education Board found among Top 1,000 Ranking list- JEE Advanced 2017. 16 students from Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education Board were able to crack JEE Advanced 2017 under 1000 Rank.

Meanwhile, Top ten rank holders, Haryana has three and Maharashtra two candidates.  Delhi, Kerala, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Rajasthan each has one candidates in the Top Ten of IIT-JEE Advanced 2017 Exam.

JEE Advanced exam was held on 21 May 2017 (Sunday This test holds the key for selecting candidates for BTech admission to 23 Indian institutes of Technology (IITs) and ISM Dhanbad.  The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017 has already successfully conducted all rounds of seat allocation process for IITs.
