Naya Raipur: Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Naya Raipur, has invited applications from eligible candidates for PhD admission 2017. The course will commerce from July 2017. The PhD programmes are available in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
The last date for receipt of completed application is 07 July 2017. The application fee is Rs 500 /-. Scholars admitted to PhD program under regular scheme (full time) are eligible for the Institute Teaching/Research Assistant ship of 25,000/- pm for 1st and 2nd years and 28,000/- pm for 3rd and 4th years.
Eligibility Conditions: The minimum educational qualifications for admission to the PhD program of the Institute is a Master’s degree in the same discipline in which the candidate desires to pursue his/her Ph D and a consistently good academic record. The candidate should have first division or equivalent in both Bachelor and Master level degree. Additionally, candidates applying under Institute Scholar category should be GATE qualified, if they are applying for PhD in engineering discipline.
The equivalence of Master degree and discipline in case of the foreign degrees of foreign nationals/NRIs will be established by the PhD admission committee.
