Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, has invited application from eligible candidates for admissions to First Year B.Tech./Second Year B.Tech./MBA / MCA /M.Tech. / M.Sc. Physics (Specialization in Electronics)/PhD candidates. PhD programmes are available in engineering and applied sciences subjects.

Submission of On-line application form (Download confirmation page*) 20 January, 2018 (10:00 AM) to 31 March 2018 (Till 05:00 PM). The Last date of receipt of OMR Application form Confirmation Page* along with payment details for On-line Application is 7 April 2018 (Till 04:00 PM).
Ph.D. Admission Test (regular course) will be held at MMMUT, Gorakhpur only on 2 July 2018 (Monday) (09:00 AM to 11.00 AM 2 Hours).

Eligibility conditions for admission in PhD courses:
Entrance test will be open to the Indian Nationals who have passed/appearing in the qualifying examination fulfilling the eligibility requirement as given below. However, the preference shall be given to the candidates having domicile status of U.P. state.
“Candidates who possess the Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Management or equivalent in the relevant discipline with 1st Division in Master Degree are eligible for the admission to Ph.D. Programme”.
Certain seats may be available with fellowship under the Research cum Teaching Fellowship scheme of the University which will be notified at the time of counseling for the limited period. Candidates opting for research cum teaching fellowship will have to opt this at the time of counseling and appear for the interview. The weightage of marks in the entrance test and interview will be in the ratio of 70% and 30%, respectively, for preparing the merit in a particular specialization.
The University may admit candidates to PhD programme who have qualified a National Level test which entitles them for the award of Senior/Junior Research Fellowship/ any other Fellowship. The University may also admit its PG pursuing students well in advance to PhD programme if they have qualified above national level test for the purpose of award of scholarship. Such candidates will be selected on the basis of personal interview without appearing in the University’s Ph.D. Admission Test provided that they fulfill the eligibility norms of the University ordinance.
