Mumbai 8th June 2018: Established with a vision to bring about innovation in higher education and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society, the not-for-profit NIIT University (NU), will conduct a seminar on future career opportunities for students in Mumbai at NIIT University, NTL 4th Floor Tower B, Marwah Center, Krishanal Marwah Marg, Off Saki Vihar Road, Andheri ( East ), Mumbai – 400072 at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018, for the students who appeared for their Class XII board exams.

Prof. Sunil Khanna, Vice President, NU will talk about the various future career avenues that are opening up to help the students choose the right field based on their interest and aptitude, and also enlighten them on the plethora of career opportunities available. He will also address the industry and career related questions and concerns of the students and their parents during the Q&A session. Students who have appeared for Class XII board exams and parents of these students can attend the session.

Elaborating on the rationale behind holding the session, Prof Sunil Khanna, Vice President, NU, said, “NU is playing a leadership role towards building competencies for the future to meet the requirements of the industry. NU students are getting placed in leading companies all over India and abroad reflecting high quality industry-aligned education imparted by the university. Through this seminar, we aim to educate students and their parents about the emerging career options and NU’s approach and teaching methodology that will help students chart successful careers in this fast-evolving digital economy”.

NU offers multiple undergraduate programmes like: B.Tech programmes in computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and biotechnology; 5 year Integrated M.Tech  programmes in computer science & engineering, electronics & communications engineering, biotechnology, educational technology and geographic information system; BBA programme; 4 year Integrated MBA programme; 4 year Integrated M.Sc in Computer Science for students who have taken Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Class XI & XII.
