Navi Mumbai, 01 Oct 2018: Testbook – a brainchild of Delhi and Mumbai-based young IITians, Ashutosh Kumar, Narendra Agrawal, Praveen Agrawal and Manoj Munna, was founded in 2014.

From 25 lakh users in November 2017, Testbook as leapfrogged the volume of registered users by 50%, which means that it has touched 50 lakh users in September 2018. Drum roll, please…

Testbook works on a Freemium model where the registered students get free access to many questions for various competitive exams, but they need to pay for access to unlimited questions.

They offer yearly, quarterly and monthly passes to the students at an affordable price.

On this occasion of touching 50 lakh users, testbook is running a campaign of 50% discount on testbook yearly pass i.e Yearly pass would be provided at Rs. 301 only as a part of this campaign.

With its audacious business plan, it has become the umbrella brand for the government and bank exams of India because it offers online test series for all the major competitive exams, video lectures, online coaching, test series android app, current affairs app, Testbook smart labs, Testbook Online Centers, ECards.

Testbook Smart Labs is a digital classroom program to help people access computer tests in Bihar and other states where people have limited/no access to computers at their home.

This initiative empowers local institutes/teachers to set up the computer labs to bridge this Internet access gap for the students who aspire to take various competitive exams.

Testbook Online Centers (TOC):

Testbook ECards:

These are the scratch cards available at Smart Labs and online centers where students can purchase these cards and get a unique code. Students need to enter this code in the Testbook portal via their smartphones to access online tests in their cities.

Jan 2014:

Testbook Launched GATE Mock Test Series. Within a month of launch, Testbook reached to approximately 13,000 registered users.

 

May 2014:

Testbook launched mock tests for Aptitude and  SBI PO.

 

July 2014:

10 lakh questions solved in total

 

October 2014:

Within a span of six months after Testbook was launched, it gained a large number of registered users, which attracted various investors to invest in the company. Testbook has raised a series of fundings from a number of investors. Testbook received a seed funding of $2,50,000 in October 2014 from Utsav Somani, Shankar Narayanan, LetsVenture and Ah! Ventures.

 

November 2014:

Jan 2015:
