APU, Pasighat Ranked Among the Top 10 Universities of India in the Progressive India Conclave, 2018

Guwahati, 9th July 2018: Apex Professional University (APU), one among India’s foremost independent private universities, recently bagged the prestigious India’s Quality Education Award by Corporate Council for Leadership and Awareness (CCLA) in recognition for its contribution to educate Scheduled Tribes amongst universities of the India in the Progressive India Conclave, 2018 at Agra.

CCLA in association with MSME, Government of India organized the Conclave which was followed by the India’s Quality Education Awards. CCLA instituted these awards to felicitate and honor institutions, universities, colleges, schools and service providers who have contributed significantly in improving quality education, delivering mechanism with emphasis on world-class research and innovations.


The Award was received by Dr. M.K. Vajpayee, Pro-Chancellor, Apex Professional University and he said, “This award will help to raise awareness of our quality education, which allows us to reach out and engage with students around the world. APU is the only university in the North East which has received the award.”

Accepting the bestowed honour humbly, Acharya  Dhanwaant Singh said, “Such honours from high platforms motivate us to work even harder towards greater heights. We are always striving to bring the Indian education system at par with the best in the world. I am happy to share that 2018 has definitely brought us closer to our vision. Now, in the current year, we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of the university with a revitalization of our promises to work tirelessly towards a better tomorrow for our students and society as a whole.”

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Kanwal Singh said, “We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award which recognises the hard work and passion that our team has put in over the last few years.”
