The awards this year were conducted across 15 categories such as Best Canteen, Best Infrastructure, Best Startup Incubators, Safest Campuses and Most Socially Responsible Colleges to mention a few. The universities and colleges were rated on a scale of 10 by students and alumni who also shared details about the institute’s offerings. Down south, Osmania University College for Women has been awarded for being Most Socially Responsible. With an NCC unit that is about 40 years old, it has inculcated superior moral values of discipline, leadership and obedience. A four-time winner of the Best Institutions Prize among institutions in the senior wing, the institution sends a significant number of candidates for Basic Leadership and Republic Day Camps in Delhi.
Among B Schools, IIM Udaipur has been awarded the Most International Students Friendly College. It provides international exposure to students in the form of student exchange programs, foreign internships and short-term courses in association with international universities. The students from this institution cannot help but be drawn to its beauty. NIT Trichy won the award for Most Popular Clubs and Societies having associations across academics, fine arts, culture and community for fostering students who are all-rounders.
