New Delhi: FIITJEE, leading coaching institute for IIT-JEE (Advanced & Main) and various other competitive exams, has gone Online with its All India Test Series for JEE 2018 and is the first coaching institute in the country to have adopted the new IIT-JEE format and has successfully conducted CBT – All India test. As a part of its preparatory support to the students, FIITJEE offers All India Tests for JEE Advanced & JEE Main in simulated environment from November 2017 onward. It enables a student to experience and get conditioned to a similar type of test several times before they appear in the actual competitive exam.

With the recent announcement by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) of the IIT’s that JEE Advanced will be conducted Online in Computer Based Test (CBT) Format from 2018 onward, FIITJEE decided to offer its students the experience of a Computer Based Test. “As FIITJEE is celebrating its silver jubilee this year, it’s a gift for all IITJEE aspirants who are likely to appear in 2018. Very soon we will conduct similar CBT for JEE 2019 aspirants,” said Mr Partha Halder, Director, FIITJEE.

In a massive exam conduction drive, FIITJEE conducted its scheduled All India Test Series (AITS) for JEE Advanced and JEE Main 2018 on 11th and 12th November, 2017 in a Proctored (Invigilated) Computer Testing platform similar to how it is expected to be conducted by the IIT’s in 2018. The tests were conducted simultaneously across 75+ cities at 140 test centres in India. FIITJEE’s academic team will release report card along with predictive All India Rank (Rank Potential Index) for the students to analyze and compare their performance, and further fine tune it in their next test under AITS, in CBT format.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Partha Halder said, “FIITJEE has always been the 1st institute in the country to adopt any new change with respect to the actual competitive exam. Be it paper structure, paper content, mode of conduction or any kind of anticipated change, FIITJEE is always ready with a solution just not on paper but in terms of implementing it. As a result we end up giving the real experience to the students so that they get conditioned well to handle any kind of surprise element.”

“With the successful conduction of FIITJEE’s AITS in CBT format across the country, students will now get an opportunity to appear in CBT in the remaining tests of AITS several times before they appear in JEE Advanced – CBT in May 2018. Even students from Tier II & Tier III cities were able to complete the test seamlessly. All features of a high stake CBT-based competitive exam were planned and executed perfectly in these tests,” said Mr. Halder.

Mr. Partha Halder is Director at FIITJEE & Head of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre and teaches Chemistry.
