Kota, India, 3rd August 2018: Pawan Goyal has made entire India proud by bagging a gold medal at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2018) held in Lisbon, Portugal, last week. He secured All World Rank (AWR) 6 & All India Rank (AIR) 1. He is a student of Resonance since 8th standard. This is the third medal Pawan has won while representing India in international Olympiads. This information was provided by Mr. R. K. Verma (M.D. & Founder of Resonance).

He added, “Pawan is a bright student and he has numerous achievements under his name. He is quickly climbing the stairs of success since he joined Resonance. Pawan secured AIR 4 in JEE (Advanced) 2018 and AIR 6 in JEE (Main) 2018, obtained highest marks 350 out of 360 in the Main examination.

Last year Pawan bagged Silver Medal at IPhO. In the same year (2017), he secured AIR 2 in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY). He also tasted success in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), in the year 2016. He also qualified in National Standard Exam in Physics (NSEP) and National Standard Examination in Astronomy (NSEA) in 2016. In the year 2015, he bagged Gold Medal in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO).”
