New Delhi: The results of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) will be declared on 11 June 2017 (Sunday). JEE Advanced exam was successful held on 21 May 2017 (Sunday). More than 1,70 lakh engineering aspirants took the test. This test holds the key for selecting candidates for BTech admission to 23 Indian institutes of Technology (IITs) and ISM Dhanbad.
The result will be declared at the give site https://results.jeeadv.ac.in/ on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 10:00 IST.
As per the Information Brochure of JEE Advanced 2017, the results of the test will be announced on 11 June 2017 (Sunday). The answer keys have been already displayed since 04 June 2017 (Sunday) on the official website of JEE Advanced 2017.
Once results are announced, seat allotment process will tentatively kickstart form 19 June 2017 by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2016 has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 92 institutes. This includes 23 IITs (Including IIT-ISM Dhanbad), 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
The higher intake capacity of IITs under BTech programmes for academic year 2017-18 is expected as higher number of candidates are qualified in JEE Main 2017. In JEE Main 2016, two lakh candidates had qualified for appearing JEE Advanced 2016. For this year more than 2.20 lakh candidates were declared qualified in the JEE Main 2017 exam for appearing JEE Advanced 2017 test.
