Mumbai: Global Society of Digital Psychology has organised a conference on Digital Psychology on 09 November 2017 at Sion hospital, Mumbai.

Ms Binaifer Sahukar, an eminent psychologist, shared her learning, experience that in Corporates Digital Media team is of youngsters, they have no structure, have to cover news on social media like star is Chief guest at some event which they come to know through their sources. Young media professionals have to be on their toes, continuously check mobile phones for social media updates, WhatsApp even while doing health calls, face health problems like stress, acidity, fertility. – 30s age group don’t want to get pregnant as it will affect their career, 40s age group starts going to IVF clinic for getting pregnant, relationship issues.

Dr.Kersi Chavda , an eminent psychologist, shared his learning on healthcare in Corporates, no proper policy, empathy in Corporates. Mrs.Sonali Patankar, Founder of Responsible Netism and Social Worker,  shared her learning on changing mindsets and Cyber Vigilance.

She mentioned that we have to have to be eReady, create Digitally safe place, Create Cyber Guardians. 10 out of 9 Video games are violent affects physical and psychological well being, she added. She emphasized that we should bring Cyber Wellness into our lives.

She wants to create Cyber Guardians* who will play the role of Care Givers in the Digital World, create Cyber hygiene.

K Moin Shaikh, an entrepreneur shared what is meant by DUMB: D – Doable; U – Understandble; M – Manageable; B – Behaviour.

Dr.Kersi Chavda shared a story on Digital marketing in a horrible way, that a young Mobile Apps Developer approached him to colloborate on App for learning alphabets which will have meaning of A for Atom, B for Bomb, and so on…

Advocate Prashant Mali started his talk by saying 95% of participants at the conference are Cyber Criminals coz they have downloaded MP3 songs on their mobile phones. He informed the crowd to manage Mobile phones, credit card, Wi-Fi password with care and alertness.

He advised few points such as: front camera on mobile phones and camera on desktops, laptops should be shut or covered with plastic transparent bindi to avoid your phone being hacked for live cam; Use Google Alert facility when someone misuses your name on social media.
