Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi: Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, has invited applications for faculty posts and non-teaching posts. There are 15 vacant faculty posts and 04 non-teaching staff posts: Registrar, Controller of Examination, Assistant Registrar and Information Scientist.

Key Dates & Application Fees: The closing date for filling up online application form is 20 November 2017 up to 24.00 Hrs. The application fee is Rs 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for General and OBC candidates and No FEE for SC, ST, PH and Women candidates.

In continuation to the Advt. No. CUJ/Advt./2016-17/17 dated 17th February, 2017 and Advt. No. CUJ/Advt./2017-18/03 dated 24th May 2017, Central University of Jharkhand has invited applications for direct recruitment on regular basis for faculty members. The candidates, who have already applied against the advertisement [Advt. No. CUJ/Advt./2016-17/17 dated 17 February, 2017 and Advt. No. CUJ/Advt./2017-18/03 dated 24 May 2017] and have paid application processing fee, need not pay the fees again. However, they are advised to fill-up the online form again (as it is revised) and send their credentials in hard copies along with hard copy of duly filled online form.

Eligibility Conditions: The recruitment to the advertised posts shall be carried out in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2010 or as amended from time to time. The Ph.D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for the appointment of Professor.  The Ph.D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for appointment of Associate Professors.

The period of active service spent on pursuing Research Degree i.e. for acquiring PhD degree simultaneously without taking any kind of leave may be counted as teaching experience for the purpose of direct recruitment to the post of Associate Professor and above as clarified by the UGC vide its letter DONo.F.17-8/2013(PS) dated 1st March, 2016

Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as given in Online API Score Sheet as per revised regulations of UGC (4th Amendment, 2016) . Each API score must be supported by the documentary evidence which should be objectively verifiable, without which no claim on account of API score would be entertained. The API score shall be calculated as per revised regulations of UGC 2016 (4th Amendment) or as per UGC regulations amended from time to time. Journal publications with ISSN number and Journal number (as mentioned in UGC uploaded list of journals) will only be considered for API calculations.

Separate application should be submitted for each post.
