New Delhi: In India there 23 IITs, 31 NITs and 42 Central Universities. These institutes are dream destinations for students for pursuing higher education. These institutes also provide great opportunities for career. Faculty posts in IITs, NITs and CUs are lucrative and challenging.
Currently, there are seven IITs, six NITs and One CU where recruitment window is open for filling up faculty posts.
IIT Roorkee has released official notification for hiring faculty posts for its 22 departments. The closing date for submission of application here is 29 December 2017. Similarly, IIT Ropar and IIT Patna have notified their recruitment plan for hiring faculty positions. The closing date for submission of application in IIT Delhi is 31 December 2017.
Faculty recruitment window is open in the following six NITs: NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Warangal, NIT Raipur, NIT Silchar, NIT Karnataka, and NIT Kurukshetra.
Central University of Jammu, a central university based in Samba in Jammu & Kashmir, has released recruitment notification to fill teaching posts for its 20 departments. The total number of vacant posts is 52. These positions are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors. The closing date for submission of application is 07 December 2017.
South Asia University, an International University located in New Delhi, has released recruitment notification to fill up faculty members. The total number of vacant posts is 11.
