Hyderabad:  Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a leading PSU under Department of Atomic Energy, has released recruitment notification to reschedule GET Recruitment-CBT examination to 21 January 2018. Earlier it was scheduled to be held on 07 January 2017, which was also one of the exam days for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Examination (Written). The date of computer based written exam for SSC-JEE is 05 January 2018 to 08 January 2018.

Hence, with ECIL’s decision to change the CBT exam day to 21 January 2018, many candidates will be able to apply for its Graduate Engineer Trainees recruitment drive.

ECIL, a leading PSU under Department of Atomic Energy, has already released recruitment notification to fill up Graduate Engineer Trainees. The total number vacant posts under GET 2017 scheme is 66.

Disciplines and Vacant Positions: Electronics & Communication Engineering (ESE) – 25 posts; Computer Science Engineering (CSE) – 10 posts; Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – 12 posts; Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (E&I) – 3 posts; Mechanical Engineering – 7 posts; Civil Engineering – 6 posts; and Chemical Engineering – 3 posts.

Eligibility Conditions: First Class Engineering Degree with minimum of 65% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/STs) from AICTE approved Colleges / Recognized Indian Universities in the relevant discipline.

The upper age limit is 25 years as on 30 November 2017. Age Relaxations/Reservations applicable as per the Govt.

The recruitment notification mentioned that candidates having Post Graduation qualification in Engineering are not eligible to apply.

Key Dates & How to Apply: The online application window will open from 02 December 2017. The closing date for submission of application is 22 December 2017. Computer Based Test will be held on 21 January 2018 (After change of date).

Application Fee of Rs.500/- will be charged for General and OBC candidates. No Application Fee is applicable for SC / ST and PWD candidates.

Selection Process: The selection process will be through Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by interview for shortlisted candidates. The duration of Test [CBT] is of 1 ½ hours in Objective Type. The Written Test [Online/CBT] shall be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.

The Computer Based Test will be held at the following cities across India. The details are as follows: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Trivandrum, Warangal, Karimnagar, Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupathi, Nagpur, Tiruchy, Cochin, Jabalpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Jammu and Belagavi.
