Shillong, Meghalaya: Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong invites applications for faculty positions for various areas. The faculty posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor , and Professor.
Specialization Areas: Economics & Public Policy, Finance & Accounting , Information Systems, Marketing Management, Operations & Quantitative Techniques, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources, Strategic Management, & Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility & Ethics.
Eligibility Conditions (Education & Experience):
Professor
PhD with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore and IISERs.
Associate Professor
PhD with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Senior Scientific Officer/ Senior Design Engineer in the AGP / GP of Rs. 8000/- and above.
Assistant Professor
PhD with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience (exclusive period of doing PhD).
Visiting Faculty on Contract
Retired Professors (upto 70 years of age) from IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore and IISERs may also apply.
Pay and Allowance are admissible as per Government of India rules and as per rules of the Institute.
