Rourkela: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, Odisha, an Institute of national importance under Ministry of HRD, is on hiring spree. NIT Rourkela has released today (10 August 2017) recruitment notification for appointing 203 faculty positions. Vacancies are available most branches/ specializations/ academic groups of Engineering, Architecture, Science, Humanities and Management.
The faculty positions are available in the five categories as per various pay scale band: Assistant Professor (on Contract) – PB–3 (INR 15,600 – INR 39,100) AGP: INR 6,000; Assistant Professor (on Contract) PB–3 (INR 15,600 – INR 39,100) AGP: INR 7,000; Assistant Professor; Associate Professor; and Professor.
Key Dates: The opening of online application portal is 10 August 2017. The closing of online application portal is 11 September 2017.

Industrial Design: First Class BTech/B Des with PhD in relevant branch/discipline.

Science / Humanities and Social Sciences Departments: First Class Masters’ Degree with PhD in relevant discipline.
School of Management: First Class MBA/PGDBM with PhD in management
