Silchar, Assam: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar releases official recruitment notification for appointing 137 faculty posts. These faculty posts are available in 11 departments while positions are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors (on contract), Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors.
Key Dates & Application Fees: Last date of receipt of application is 30 November 2017 up to 1700 hours. The application fee is INR 1,000.00 for General/OBC candidates while INR 500.00 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Reservation Policy: Reservation for SC / ST / OBC applicable as per GoI norms to the post of Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (on contract). Reservation for PWD is applicable as per GoI norms to all posts.
