Mumbai: NTPC-Sail Power Company Limited (NSPCL), a premier joint venture company of two Maharatnas – NTPC Limited and SAIL, is hiring Engineering Executive Trainees through GATE 2017. These  posts are vacant in the following disciplines of engineering: Electrical, Mechanical , Instrumentation and Electronics.

There are a total of 15 vacant posts: Electrical (04), Mechanical (07) , Instrumentation (02) and Electronics (02). GATE 2017 score is only valid for this recruitment.

Key Dates: The online application window is has opened from today ( 19 Sept 2017 from 11:00 am onwards).  The last date of online application is 10 October 2017 upto midnight.

Eligibility Conditions:  Full Time Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the years in any one of above disciplines. Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree.

Age:  Upper age limit 27 years as on last date of online application in NSPCL ( i.e. 10 Oct 2017).

Selection Process: As per the recruitment notification, eligible candidates should have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017. Based on the GATE 2017 marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on 85% weightage of GATE 2017 score and 15% weightage of Personal Interview marks.

About the company: NSPCL presently has four Power Plants at three locations viz. Bhilai, Durgapur & Rourkela and expansion is under progress for 1X250 MW power plant at Rourkela and 2X20 MW power plant at Durgapur. NSPCL has also ventured into solar power generation and has plans of establishing 200 MWp at SAIL Units.
