Mumbai: It is big time for aspirants who plan to pursue career in faculty or teaching positions in higher educational institutes. There are more than 20 universities including NITs, IITs, and Central Universities where recruitment window is opening for teaching staff.
The largest one where recruitment is going in a massive scale is National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) under Ministry of HRD, is hiring 1221 Assistant Professors for TEQIP III project. These posts are available for Assistant Professors in 53 colleges.
In addition to NPIU, recruitment for faculty positions are going on, three are Central Universities, seven are NITs, four IITs, others. Central University of Rajasthan is hiring 31 faculty posts. The closing date for submission of application is 09 November 2017. Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is hiring 90 faculty positions where the closing date for submission of online application is 14 November 2017. Central University of Jharkhand is also inviting applications for appointing faculty posts.
The four IITs where faculty recruitment drive is going are as followed: IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Indore (Special Recruitment Drive for Reserved Category (i.e. OBC, SC and ST and PWD), IIT Palakkad and IIT Bhilai.
Seven NITs have joined faculty recruitment bandwagon. There are as followed: NIT Trichy, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Delhi, NIT Allahabad, NIT Silchar, and NIT Raipur.
