By Rudra Narayan Sahoo, Mumbai: Learning & Development (L&D) Global, India’s largest L&D practitioner professional group, has taken a new initiative titled Vidya, which is going to be a game changer for learning community.  Vidya programe aims at providing relevant content, artifacts, Videos, learning materials to L&D professionals.

Meanwhile, Vidya will provide a platform for contributors to showcase their original content in the form of Blogs, Articles, Presentations, Videos,  learning tools, etc, which would benefit the L&D community as well as create many opportunities for the contributors. L&D Global has more than 25,000 members in India.

Eminent L&D Practitioner and NLP specialist, Mr Milind Kher will lead this initiative on a pan India basis. Mr Kher said “Knowledge is an investment that only appreciates having no depreciation impact. He said Vidya has lined up many learning initiatives in the form of content sharing, video presentations, experience sharing, engaging learning tools, etc. Mr Kher said detailed modalities and action plans will be rolled out on all India basis and L&D Practitioner in each corner of the country will be connected via this initiative.

Mr Surya Prakash Mohapatra, founder of L&D Global, said that after the successful initiation of L&D Katha, led by Dr Mangesh Dash, L&D Global has taken the latest initiative “Vidya”.  This knowledge sharing tool will keep engaging and gamifying learning community. Mr Mohapatra mentioned that Vidya will inspire L&D professional to scale up their skills and position themselves in this VUCA environment.

L&D Global has chapters in eight cities in India: Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. The mission of L&D Global is popularly known as 3 Cs: Collaborate, Co-create and Contribute. The primary activities of the group are facilitating forums where members can collaborate, share and learn best practices and exchange ideas, facilitating networking among members across different cities and countries, and conducting training programs, Webinars, ‘Chat with Expert’ sessions for members.
