Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), a Central University in Lucknow, has invited applications from eligible students for Under Graduate, Post Graduate, MPhil, PhD, and Diploma courses. The Registration /Sale of Application has commenced form 01 March 2017. The last date of receipt of application form (by hand/in person) is 31 March 2017 while the closing date for Receipt of Application Form by posts(speed post/registered post) 5 April 2017.

The University has reserved 50% of seats for SC/ST candidates in all the teaching  programmes including research degrees. BBAU has a provision of one additional supernumerary seat in each course for single girl child, BPL Student, cancer, HIV and Thalassemia Patient.  The University is offering 105 courses through  its 9 schools and 26 departments.

The University will conduct entrance tests for all its courses. The entrance test will be held during 26 May 2017 to 10 June 2017.

PhD programmes: The University has informed that PhD Admission is governed by UGC Regulation 2016. The eligibility criteria for various PhD programmes offered by the University is as per the PhD Ordinance of the University. For exact eligibility conditions, interested candidates should refer the Prospectus Admission 2017 of the University.

The syllabus for the entrance test would be in consonance to what has been prescribed by the UGC/ICAR/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/GPAT/GATE such central body for the National Eligibility.
