Mumbai: The Human Resource Development Group of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) informed that the declaration of result of Joint CSIR-UGC JRF/NET June-2017 examination held on 18 June 2017 is delayed because of legal issues involved in the wake of the Judgement of Hon’ble High court of Punjab and Haryana in CWP 8015/2017 dated 28 September 2017.

The notification mentioned  that the result will be declared in the due course of time. The council requested that all the candidates who had appeared in the above examination to kindly bear with us.

On the basis of their performance in the CSIR-UGC NET Exam, two separate merit lists, one comprising the candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF – NET) and the second, of those candidates qualifying the Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET), will be made. Candidates qualifying for JRF (NET), will also be eligible for Lectureship (NET) subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.

The test was held in the following five subjects:  Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences; Life Sciences; Mathematical Sciences;  and Physical Sciences.
