09 May 2018, Mumbai: The much awaited the results of joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility For Lecturership (NET) held on 17 December 2017 have been declared today (10 May 2018). The results and cut-offs are available on the official website of CSIR-UGC Test.
A total number of 3,973 candidates have qualified for JRF (NET) CSIR. A total number of 1500 candidates have qualified both JRF-NET UGC. These candidates are also eligible for Lecturership-NET subject to their fulfilling criteria for lecturership as laid down by UGC .
Meanwhile, a total number of 4,409 candidates have qualified the eligibility test for Lecturership-NET. The candidates qualifying for Lecturership-NET will be eligible for recruitment as lecturer as well as for JRF-Ship in a Scheme/Project, if otherwise suitable as per the eligibility criteria of that Scheme/Project. However, they will not be eligible for regular JRF-NET.
However, they will not be eligible for regular JRF-NET Fellowship. They will be eligible to pursue Ph.D program with or without any fellowship other than JRF-NET .
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) informed that as per the interim order of Hon’able High Court of Punjab & Haryana dated 24.11.2017 in the case of CSIR Vs Ramandeep Kaur(LPA – 2243 – 2017), the result of Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and Eligibility for Lecturership (NET) held on 17 December 2017 is being declared subject to outcome of Appeal.
The CSIR informed that date of declaration of result is 09 May 2018. The Fellowship will be effective from 01 July 2018.
