New Delhi: Delhi Technological University, formerly Delhi College of Engineering, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for academic session 2017-18. The University offers Full Time/Part-Time scholars for PhD in various branches of Engineering, Sciences, Humanities and Management. The total number of seats available for doctoral programmes is 51.
The online application window has opened today (09 May 2017). The closing date for online submission of application is 13 June 2017. The dates for written test are 24 June 2017 & 25 June 2017. Teaching cum Research fellow (TRF) is available for meritorious candidates.
Eligibility Conditions: An applicant possessing a Masters degree in Engineering/Technology/ Sciences/ Management/Humanities and Social Sciences in relevant discipline or equivalent with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) as determined by the Delhi Technological University shall be eligible to apply for admission to a PhD programme of the University. In exceptional cases applicant with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology having a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and having proven research capability may also be considered eligible. Five percent (5%) relaxation in marks at the level of qualifying degree will be given to SC/ST category students for determining the eligibility conditions to appear in the screening test.
