Neemrana, Rajasthan: NIIT University (NU), a private university based in Neemrana, Rajasthan, has notified PhD Admission for 2017 session for various streams: Mathematics & Sciences, Management, Computer Science, Electronic and Engineering, Biotechnology, Educational Technology, and Geographic Information System (GIS).
NU Scholar Search Programme: The University on its website mentioned that all registered regular full time PhD students would be provided scholarship of upto Rs 30, 000 per month. However, these students will be required to assist half time in the teaching/research activities. In lieu of the services, NU shall not charge any university fee (computed at Rs 4, 40,000 / annum) from the residential PhD scholars.
Eligibility Conditions: As per the PhD admission notification, the minimum educational qualifications required to apply for admission to the PhD programme are as follows:
Master’s degree in Sciences/Engineering/ Technology with a good academic record.
B.Tech/BE degree holders with a minimum of CGPA of 8.87 on a 10.0 point scale, or with a valid GATE Score. They should have a valid score in GRE/GMAT/GATE/ JMET/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ATMA/UGC or CSIR/NET/JRF or an equivalent examination.
How to Apply: The eligible candidates should download the PhD Admission Application Form available at the admission page of the official website of NNIT University and print the same and submit the completed form along with all the required documents in one of the following ways:
Send by registered post/speed post/courier service to NU Central Admissions Office.
Submit in person to an authorizsed NU representative at NU Admissions Offices.
Email the scanned copy of the completed form to [email protected], along with the scanned copies of Class X, XII, Graduation, and Post-Graduation mark sheets and other required documents.
Please note that all required documents should be submitted along with the completed application form.
Key Dates: The closing dates for application submission is 22 May 2017 (Monday).
The Interview & Written Test Date will be held during 1-7 July 2017 (Sat to Fri).
