Silchar: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar has released PhD Admission Notification for July –December 2018 session. The PhD programmes are available 11 departments.
There are two Groups (A and B) of admission under PhD Program: GROUP A: Ph.D. Program – Regular Category who may receive fellowship from the MHRD / CSIR/UGC or any other recognized funding agency. Fellowship benefits available as per MHRD / CSIR / UGC guidelines.
PhD Program–No financial assistance or stipend by NIT Silchar will be provided for this GROUP.
Key Dates & How to Apply: Last date of submission of form to the Institute is 28 May 2018.
The filled inand sign Application Form must be accompanied with an Application Fee of Rs.500/- (for General/OBC) OR Rs.250/- (for SC/ST) in the form of crossed Demand Draft( photocopy) in favour of Director, N.I.T. Silchar, payable at Silchar; otherwise, the application form will be treated as cancelled.
Hard copy Application form complete in all respects should reach the office of Dean (Research and Consultancy) , NIT Silchar., within 28 May 2018 by 5.00 p.m.
