Sonipat: OP Jindal Global University, a Private university located at Sonipat, Haryana, has released PhD admission notification for February 2018 session. Both regular PhD and Part-Time PhD is available for admission.
Schools for PhD Admission: Jindal Global Law School(JGLS), Jindal Global Business School(JGBS),Jindal School of International Affairs(JSIA), Jindal School of Government & Public Policy(JSGP), Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences(JIBS) and International Institute for Higher Education Research & Capacity Building(IIHED).
Eligibility: Applicant must have a Master degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55%. Shorlisted candidates required to take an entrance test, apart from an interview before final selection.
As per the PhD Regulations of the university, the following categories of applicants may be exempted from taking the Entrance Test:
Applicants who have qualified UGC/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/ SLET (Haryana State) or any other similar examination.
Holders of Teacher Fellowships from the UGC or any other Government funding agency.
Applicants who have completed their Ph.D. coursework/ M.Phil. in another University/ Organization, subject to approval by the SDC.
Jindal Doctoral Fellowships will be awarded to outstanding who are enrolled into the PhD programme.
