New Delhi, 28 July 2018: Union Minister of Human Resource Development Mr. Prakash Javadekara said on yesterday that Turnitin software will used to detect Plagiarism Checker free in research, which will be made available to all universities at no cost. He was speaking at a three-day national conference of vice-chancellors of universities and directors of higher education institutions on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima.

“A thesis has to be a new addition to existing knowledge. There are many tools which detect Plagiarism Checker free by search engine reports which help students now days for completing their assignment. We will upload software like Turnitin on the UGC website. It will be open for all universities in the country,” the Minister added.

The Minister also informed that e-Shodh Sindhu mass bargain journals will now be available for all Universities at affordable cost. He further said that from now on other than centrally funded Universities also can call foreign Professors to their institutions under GIAN initiative.

The three- day Conference started on 26th July, and will culminate on 28th July, 2018. All Vice Chancellors of Central Universities, State Public Universities, Deemed to be Universities, State Private Universities, Directors of Central Institutes, such as IITs, IISc., IIMs, IISERs, IIITs, NITs and other central institutions participated in the Conference.

The Minister further said that all research projects of MHRD including IMPRINT will be opened to teachers and students of all Universities.
