Mumbai: Tata Consulting Services and Capgemini found place among Skillsoft Innovation Award winners 2016 list. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) won the award in the Program of the Year category. TCS was recognized for its targeted and dynamic Agile Learning program designed to improve the quality of client engagements. In the Empowering Continuous Talent Development award category, Capgemini was emerged as a winner. The company was recognized for using the SumTotal platform in conjunction with Skillsoft content, to create a blended virtual learning journey targeted at budding leaders.
The Skillsoft Innovation Awards Scheme brings together global learning, talent and HR professionals from the fields of business, government and education, to recognize innovative ideas, powerful programs and inspiring leaders who are helping transform the corporate learning and talent management landscape. The awards were judged by an independent panel of thought leaders including subject matter experts and analysts at IDC, Bersin by Deloitte, Brandon Hall Group, the Center for Talent Reporting, Aptitude Research, Laci Loew & Company, Human Capital Media, Elearning! Magazine, Training Industry, and Skillsoft and SumTotal. The Award ceremony was held in Los Vegas, the USA during Global Skillsoft Perspectives 2016 conference (9-12 May 2016).
Other global companies who emerged as winners of the Awards were Vectren Corporation, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Apex Systems, University of California, Manitoba Hydro, Mercy Health, Navigant Consulting and Newalta, who were honored for Using Skillsoft and SumTotal Systems Solutions to create outstanding business value.
