New Delhi:  India’s biggest event on University-Industry collaboration for last 5 years with widespread participation from the highest level of government, industry and academia from India and abroad will kickstart from 07 November 2016. India-UK University Industry Congress & Global Higher Education Summit will be held on 7 – 8 November, Taj Palace, New Delhi.

The global higher education summit’s conference sessions include: New Education Policy and Higher Education in States and Union Territories of India; Industry-Academia Collaborations; Internationalisation of Higher Education in India; and Research Partnerships between Industry & Institutes.

The four day conference will see release of some key national survey reports on various aspects of higher education.  These are as followed:

Release of 5th edition of report on AICTE-CII Survey of Industry-Linked Technical Institutes 2016. Release of 5th edition of Annual Status of Higher Education in States and Union Territories of India – ASHE 2016.

Release of 3rd edition of CII-AIU Report on Trends in Internationalisation of Higher Education in India.

Release of 2nd CII – ICI Report on Landscape of Research Output of Universities & other Research Institutes in India.

Global Higher Education Summit will host Awards for Best- Industry Linked Technical Institutes 2016 (AICTE-CII Indpact Survey). Further, B2B Meetings and Partnerships Sessions have been lined up in the global event.

The  6th Higher Education Summit & University-Industry Congress is being held on the back drop of The India-UK Tech Summit. The Higher Education Summit is a part of grand event of The India-UK Tech Summit. The India-UK Tech Summit will be jointly inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Theresa May, on 7 November, 2016, at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi. It will highlight the visions of both the Prime Ministers to create a new era of bilateral economic relationship between the two countries.
