Mumbai: The Economic Times Young Leaders B-School Edition (ETYL B-School) is back and invites applications from B-School students. ET’s initiative aims at encouraging, identifying and nurturing young individuals many of who will be entering the corporate world for the very first time.

The Economic Times Young Leaders B-School programme is a platform for recognizing and rewarding bright young talent in India’s B-Schools. The national hunt programme includes a combination of assessment tools, online as well as on-ground, and culminates in face-to-face interviews with leaders from the corporate world. Final year, full time postgraduate management students who are Indian resident nationals, as on 22 August 2016, studying in any business school in India can participate in the national contest.  Also, students doing a full time 1 year MBA course are also eligible to participate. Last date of submission of application is 16 September 2016.

The programme is divided into four phases:

Phase 1: A simple 20 minutes online personality test

Phase 2: A rigorous 45 minutes online test to assess your quantitative skills, verbal ability, logical reasoning followed by a 35 min. online test to assess your managerial competency

Phase 3: Assessment of functional knowledge and oral communication

Phase 4: Interviews with the industry’s top CEOs

A shortlist at the end of every phase will move forward to next phase.

So far, across two editions, the ET Young Leaders B-School edition received participation from nearly 25,000 management students and 41 deserving candidates have been identified as promising young leaders stepping into the corporate world.

As per the portal of the programme, in the 2015 edition, 11 of the 22 young leaders have joined the coveted Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programmes.
