Pune: Managing sport events, marketing & branding aspects of team organization in professional sports, managing professional sport teams require specialized skills. Career in sports management is emerging a new career option for youth. Now Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences is offering Master of Business Administration (Sports Management). This specialized course will focus on the business fundamentals of sports industry. Finance, Operations, Marketing, Analytics, Technology and innovation in the sports industry are the key areas of course curriculum of the MBA (Sports Management).
Symbiosis invites applications for MBA (Sports Management), a two-year full time residential programme. Total number seats for the course is 60. Last date for filling online applications 25 July 2016 (Monday).
Eligibility: Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) at graduation level. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) at qualifying examination.
Admission Process:
Indian Students: All eligible candidates will appear for the Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PIWAT) process. Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test will be held in Pune 8 and 9 August 2016.
International Students: Admission of all international students are done through International office of Symbiosis International University. The institute said in the admission notification that International student should visit www.scie.ac.in .
Fees: As per the Admission Notification of the institute, academic fee is Rs 3,25,000/- per year and deposit fee is Rs 20,000/- .
The course will commence its academic study from 22 August 2016.
