New Delhi: The grand finale of the 42nd National Competition for Young Managers (NCYM) organized by All India Management Association will be held on 12 August 2016 in New Delhi. NCYM recognises competitive excellence among young managers by providing them an unparalleled opportunity to hone their analytical, creative thinking, problem solving, team working and leadership skills in a national-level platform.

Now, the NCYM is one of the hugely popular pan India National-level Competitions meant exclusively for the young managers working in both public and private sector organisations.

A three member team of executives within 35 years of age (as on January 1, 2016) is eligible to participate. The team should be from the same organization only. Organisations are also free to nominate as many teams as they wish. Each team will be required to send the mandatory non-refundable entry fee, along with the registration form.

Schedule of the competition:

Bangalore:          15-16 July, 2016

Kolkata:                22-23 July, 2016

Mumbai:              29-30 July, 2016

Delhi:                  5-6 August, 2016

Grand Finale      12 August, 2016

Team will then make the presentation before a panel of judges in the respective regional centres – New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai & Bangalore.  Two best teams from each region will be selected to make final presentation at the Grand Finale to be held at New Delhi (12 August 2016).

The previous year event such as the 41st National Competition for Young Managers was held on the theme “Transformation Role of Young Managers in a New-Age Economy: Towards Building Sustainable Organisation”. Bosch Jaipur emerged as the National Champions, Bosch team members, Bangalore were the 1st Runners up and Mahle Behr India Pvt Ltd were the 2nd Runners-up. Sir Padampat Singhania Award for Best Young Manager was given to Ms Jyothi Setharaman of Alstom T & D India Ltd.
