Lucknow: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, a premier management school, has invited applications from eligible working professionals for its executive fellow programme in management (EFPM) 2017-18. This executive fellow programme is designed for working professionals who plan to enhance their career and pursue research in management while remaining in job and continuing to work. This is the 5th batch and course will commence from June 2017.
The research specialisation areas available in EFPM 2017-18 include agri-business management, information technology and systems, business environment, marketing management, business communication, operations management, finance and accounting, strategy management, operations management, human resource management, and sustainable management.
The last date for submission of application is 15 March 2017. The completed application form must reach the EFPM Office, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.B1, Sec-62,Noida Campus, 201307
before the closing date.
Eligibility & Criteria Details:
The candidates for the programme should have one of the following qualifications:
A Masters’ degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (or, its equivalent in terms of CGPA).
OR
A CA, ICWA, CS or equivalent degree with a minimum 55% aggregate marks (for Finance area)
All candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level.
They should be currently employed in full time job.
They should have at least seven years of executive/managerial/academic experience in the relevant area as on 31 May 2017.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 55 years of age as on 31 May 2017.
Selection Process: As per the executive fellow in management notification of IIM Lucknow, applicants who fulfil above eligibility criteria would be required to have valid test score of CAT/ GRE/ GMAT/ GATE and JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR). Scores of any of these examinations taken during the last two years (i.e., after 01 April, 2015) would be considered valid.
Applicants who have already obtained PGDM equivalent degree (PGP/IPMX/WMP) from any IIM or AACSB/AMBA/EQUIS accredited educational Institutes in India and abroad (with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10.0 point scale) would be exempted from this test score requirement. Applicants who are MBAs from non-accredited educational Institutes but have at least one research publication in a journal of category C and above as per ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council) rating are also exempted from the test score requirement.
Candidates having valid test score as mentioned above or PGDM equivalent degree from IIMs or AACSB/AMBA/EQUIS accredited educational Institutes are eligible to apply for 2nd year of EFPM program.
Candidates, who are appearing for CAT / GRE / GMAT/GATE and JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR), may fill in relevant parts of EFPM application form and provide in EFPM admission application information on these tests.
IIM Lucknow informed that all application form will be screened by separate screening committees. The candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations mentioned. The short-listed candidates will be called to any one of IIM Lucknow campuses (Lucknow / Noida) for personal interview in May 2017. Successful candidates will receive offers and the program is expected to start by the middle of June 2017.
