Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB) has launched an off-campus program PGPpro – a weekend Post Graduate Programme in Management for working professionals and entrepreneurs. This is the first time ISB is venturing off campus to offer the Executive MBA equivalent programme in Delhi and Hyderabad on alternate weekends over a period of 16 months. PGPpro is equivalent to executive MBA programme designed to meet career consolidation goals of midcareer working professionals.
PGPpro prepares participants to enhance their understanding of management techniques along with exposure to current best practices that will allow them to leverage potential opportunities and tackle challenges effectively, leading to advanced professional and personal growth.
Highlighting PGPpro, Professor Dishan Kamdar, Deputy Dean, Academic Programmes said, “PGPpro is the first of its kind postgraduate programme that will be offered off campus. The off campus delivery model will allow us to offer a truly world-class programme to several bright young professionals who are not able to pursue a full-time management programme at ISB campuses.”
In a statement, PGPpro offers the same ISB edge to all its participants – global curriculum, best of resident and international faculty, diverse and talented peer group, practical and relevant industry exposure and the opportunity to become a part of the ISB’s global alumni network.
PGPpro is designed for mid-career professionals with a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 12 years of work experience only. The School welcomes and encourages diversity in the classroom. The programme will last 16 months with classes on alternate weekends providing extreme convenience to desiring candidates to complete this programme. Classes will start in January 2017.
The curriculum will focus on providing a major in Strategy & Leadership and a minor in either Finance or Marketing. ISB informed that the programme has started accepting applications. Admissions will be on a rolling basis and last deadline for acceptance of applications is November 15, 2016.
The course will be offered in Delhi (NCR) and Hyderabad and is the first programme from ISB to be offered outside its campus locations. There is no need to travel to ISB campuses where candidates will get the ISB experience at the doorstep. Two weeks of classes will be held on ISB campuses – one week at Mohali and one week at Hyderabad. Participants also have the opportunity for one international immersion in an Asian country.
