LinkedIn Salary aims at helping professionals around the world make better career decisions and optimize their earning potential now, and in the future. This salary insight from LinkedIn provides what salary one can expect to get based on experience while members will get details on how they can expect your salary to change based on current and future experience in the field.

With LinkedIn Salary, the professional network has tapped into its network of more than 460+ million members to provide deep insights into the compensation landscape. This includes salary, bonus, and equity data for specific job titles, and the different factors that impact pay such as years of experience, industry, company size, location, and education level. The most of the significant features of the insight is when members enter one’s salary, it’s immediately encrypted and remains private.

Via LinkedIn salary, for a given job title, one can get a detailed distribution of base salary, along with additional elements such as stock and annual bonus. For example, while most data analysts don’t report receiving an annual bonus, it makes up a large portion of compensation for 79 percent of investment banking analysts. Another key feature of the professional network is one can know top locations that pay the most for specific jobs, and see the number of job openings there. For example, a registered nurse in Sacramento gets paid an average of 50 percent more than in New York City.

At launch, LinkedIn Salary will be available to all our members on desktop and mobile Web in the US, Canada and the UK. The company plans to roll out globally in 2017.
