The Linked Power Profiles for Internet 2016 list has eight entrepreneurs: Shradha Sharma, Founder & CEO , YourStory Media; Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder, One97 & Paytm; Kunal Shah, Founder & CEO , FreeCharge; Alok Kejriwal, Co-Founder & CEO, Games2win India Pvt Ltd; Sriharsha Majety, CEO & Co-Founder, Swiggy, Sameer Parwani, CEO, CouponDunia; Peyush Bansal, CEO, lenskart.com; Manu Agarwal, Founder & CEO, Naaptol.com.
Entrepreneurs having exposure to diversified internet business sectors as e-commerce, digital payment, media, games & gamification, food tech and many more have been featured in the list. Shradha Sharma, Founder & CEO YourStory Media, is the only women leader to find a place in the list.
LinkedIn informed that the company used its member data over 2015-2016 to arrive at the Power Profiles 2016 list. It has also applied filters to capture engagement levels and other actions on the platform. LinkedIn employees were excluded from the list.
In a separate list LinkedIn Power Profiles 2016 for CEOs in India rates Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi as the most viewed and influential professional on LinkedIn. The LinkedIn Power Profiles for CEOs in India has also featured another seven business leaders including Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, CMD, Biocon Limited and Rekha M Menon, Chairman & MD, Accenture in India.
