Mumbai: MyKindOfJob.com, a pioneer in the flexible jobs space, has achieved a milestone by signing up with over 500 employers and crossing the mark of one lakh registered flexi job seekers. Capitalising  its first mover advantage in the thematic Flex Jobs space and surging demand for flexi jobs, the flexi-jobs specialist job portal, MyKindOfJob is steadily gaining foothold in the crowded job portal industry in India.

According to Ankit Bansal, founder of MyKindOfJob, said that the flexi jobs market is expanding so rapidly that their current achievement will look like the tip of the iceberg in a couple of years. MyKindOfJob.com is aggressively hiring the best available talent to double their team size in the next couple of months. Mr Bansal informed that the top priority of the company is to hire the best talent and give them their dream work culture with robust technology based processes of working.

Changes are unfolding  for both at demand and supply side of human power industry with employers and employees are slowing converging on the adopting flexi work options.  Due to flexi days, flexi time, work from home & compressed work weeks the employees need to come to office less often than they did earlier.  Flexible jobs save a lot of time spent in traffic jams and release a lot of time for maintaining a healthy work life balance. In a recent study by Randstad, out of 7500 Indian executives surveyed, more than half of employees (53%) prefer to work from home (tele-commuting), while 47% said yes to work from office every day.

Gen Y is already demanding partial flexibility at work & Gen Z is expected to demand a much higher level of flexibility in jobs. Employers have begun to respond and adapt to this change as the pluses far outweigh the minuses in terms of its impact on the bottom line. The writing on the wall is clear. The choice is to shape up on the flexibility front or ship out due to lack of high quality talent in future.

MyKindOfJob has also lined up new initiatives spanning from hiring more talents to exploring new market opportunities via engagement with Employers, Campuses & the Professional Communities. MyKindOfJob.com is looking forward to scale up its operations by engaging even more proactively with the Employers, Campuses & the  Professional Communities seeking flexi job options or wanting to leverage their unutilized skills, knowledge & hobbies.
