Bengaluru: BRIDGE School of Management announced today that its flagship program on Predictive Business Analytics, offered in exclusive partnership with the prestigious Northwestern University (SPS), U.S., will now be available for aspiring analytics professionals in Bengaluru with classes from January 2017 onwards. The Predictive Business Analytics certificate program has been specially created for India by faculty from Northwestern University and top industry experts using real-world problems and case-studies, which are refreshed regularly to keep it current with the evolving data sciences industry needs.

According to India Analytics Sector Report (June 2016) by Nasscom, India is poised for an 8-times growth in the Analytics sector by 2025 (approximately US$16 Bn market). Consequently, there is a sharp demand spike for trained analytics professionals across sectors especially BFSI, Healthcare, Marketing, Telecom, HR, etc.

Rajesh Puri, CEO of BRIDGE School of Management shared, “We are excited about coming to Bengaluru with our flagship Business Analytics program. Bengaluru is India’s nodal city for the Analytics industry. The digital economy is rapidly disrupting business models all over the world, and advances in Analytics and Data Sciences are driving this large scale transformation.”

Mr Puri commented that the program will be offered in collaboration with Northwestern University (U.S.). He said that the key strength of the program is that it incorporates hands on training on large data sets. The Program is designed for both working professionals and fresh college graduates.  With intensive face to face sessions held over the weekend, working professionals can participate in this program alongside their current jobs. For fresh college graduates who are not working currently, a 6-month internship is provided as an element of the program.

The Northwestern and Bridge School initiative combines online content developed and taught by Northwestern faculty, supplemented with weekly hands on practical sessions led by local specialist faculty at the Bridge School’s learning centers nationally.

Northwestern University’s Masters in Analytics program, ranked among the top 5 in the world by Predictiveanalyticstoday.com, Datanami.com and Informationweek.com forms the basis for this program. Bridge School of Management, a venture of the Hindustan Times Media group had introduced this program in exclusive academic collaboration with Northwestern University (SPS) in Delhi – NCR in 2014 and has established itself successfully.

Mr. Rajesh Puri further shared that, “BRIDGE School focuses on practical learning through its rigorously immersive live projects/case studies, simulations of real business issues. Senior executives such as CEOs/SVPs from leading organizations are facilitators and they bring in their experiential learning from their workplace over and above the theoretical inputs.”
