Mumbai: Do you have ambition to pursue career in the PSU banks in the officer rank. Bank Probationary Officer post is the entry level positions among officer cadre positions offered to deserving candidates. State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest Bank, has issued recruitment notification for hiring 2626 candidates under Bank PO positions.
The window for submission of online application has opened from today (07 Feb 2017). The submission of online application will close on 06 March 2017. The online preliminary examination will be held on the following dates: 29 & 30 Apr and 6 & 7 May 2017.
Eligibility Criteria for SBI Bank PO: Education: The candidate should have graduate degree from any discipline from a recognised University. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2017. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.07.2017.
The recruitment notification also mentioned that candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.
Age Limit : (As on 01.04.2017): The candidates should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2017 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1987 and not later than 01.04.1996 (both days inclusive). The upper age relaxation is allowed to reserved category candidates as per the government laws.
Selection Procedure: Candidates need to submit application via online mode. The examination will be held in two phases preliminary and main. Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Group Exercises & Interview.
How to apply: The eligible candidates should apply online via https://www.sbi.co.in/careers/ . The notification said that no other mode of application is accepted.
