New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has notified the recruitment advertisement for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff,  Group C Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories. The tentative vacancies for the Post of Muilti-Tasking (Non-Technical) is 8300. The closing date for submission of online application is 30 January 2017 (Monday).

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification-As per the recruitment notification, as on 01.08.2017 candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination OR equivalent from a recognized Board.       Age Limit-Candidates must born between 18-25 years as on 01.08.2017 (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.1999). Upper Age relaxation is available to reserved categories candidates such as SC/ST, OBC, Physically Handicapped (PH), Ex-Service Man, Central Govt. Civilian Employees, etc. For the exact years for upper age relaxation of age, candidates should refer the Job Advertisement available on the official website of SSC (http://ssc.nic.in/).

Key Dates:   The Online Registration window has been available from 31.12.2016. The closing date for submission of online application is 30.01.2017(upto 5:00 PM). The facility of online application (including payment of fees through debit card) will be available up to 30.01.2017 (5.00PM). The SSC clearly mentioned that candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, they may make the payment to designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank upto 30.01.2017 provided the challan has been generated by them before 5.00 PM of 25.01.2017. The challan generation facility will be available up to 25.01.2017 (05:00 PM) only.

How to apply: The candidates must submit through online mode only via the official website of SSC (http://ssc.nic.in/) .

Selection Procedure: The SSC proposes to hold a Common Examination for all applicants for posts in different States / UTs on 16.04.2017, 30.04.2017 and 07.05.2017 and if required on subsequent dates. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the common examination will be required to appear for a descriptive type qualifying paper for testing basic language skills. The date of descriptive paper will be intimated in due course.

The common examination will be held at various centres  across India.

Application Fee & Mode of Payment: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100 (One hundred only) online. The SSC informed that all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

The SSC informed that all eligible candidates who apply for the posts will be assigned Roll numbers. These will be uploaded on the website of the Commission around two weeks before the Tier-I examination on the website of the concerned Regional/Sub-regional office of the Commission.
