Chennai:  SRM University, a leading deemed university in India, successfully organized National Technical Summit (T-Summit) on 13-14 July 2016 in Chennai. The theme of this national summit was Young Innovation- a blend of innovation from youth and from technological transformation will be a catalyst for better future. The chief guest of the summit was Dr. Avinash Chander, former secretary of DRDO and Guest of Honour was Mr. Atul Gurtu, Lead of the Indian Team to CERN experiment at LHC in Geneva.

The two-day event brought together the organizers of top fests around the country to discuss what they have achieved over the years. The two-day event included various knowledge sharing activities such as Table Conference, Seminar and Lectures by experts. A large number of students from premier technical education institutes participated in the event.
