Mumbai:  CUCET , Central Universities Common Entrance Test,  an all-India test is being organized by 14 Central Universities for admission to various Integrated/ Under-graduate, Post-graduate and Research Programmes (MPhil & PhD) in these Universities/Institutes. The Bengaluru Dr BR Ambedkar School of Economics is also a participating Institute (BASE).

The notification for CUCET 2019 is out. The online application will commence 14 March 2019. The last date for submission of online application is 13 April 2019 (24:00 hrs.). The last date to accept the fee 13 April 2019.

The dates of Examinations are 25 & 26 May 2019. The results will be declared on 21 June 2019.

The participating institutes and universities in CUCET are as followed: There are fourteen Central Universities of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Mahatma Gandhi (Bihar), Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and South Bihar participating in CUCET 2019 along with the Bengaluru Dr BR Ambedkar School of Economics.

Examination Fees: The examination fee for General/ OBC/EWS Candidates Rs is 800/- .  The fee for SC/ST Candidates Rs. 350/- PWD Candidates is Nil.

The examination will be held in 78 cities across India.

CUCET is conducted for the students of 10+2, Bachelor Degree holders and Master Degree holders to obtain admission into the UG / Integrated Program / BVoc, Post Graduate Program and the Research Programs (PhD & Mphil), respectively in these 14 Central Universities (CUs).

Admission Procedure: Admissions are handled at the level of each of these Central Universities and BASE, for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CUCET results, the respective Central Universities and BASE will declare the counselling/admission schedule and merit list based on the weightage on CUCET-2019 score and the other criteria of PUs. Candidates should read the website of the concerned University and BASE for details. There will be online admission counselling for some Universities with additional fees.
