Bhopal: Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, a State Technological University of Madhya Pradesh, has announced PhD Admission for 2020-21. PhD Admission is available in 17 Subjects.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 20 October 2020. The PhD Entrance Test will be held on 28 October 2020.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D. programme:
Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a University, a deemed University or any other University incorporated under a law and recognized by University Grants Commission of India (UGC).
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their relevant Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace marks.
A candidate who has not completed Master’s Degree, is permitted to appear in the entrance test for the Ph.D. programme. However, such candidates shall be required to submit a certificate of passing the Master’s Degree along with the marks/grades obtained at the time of interview for admission into Ph.D. programme.
Selection Process: The admission into the PhD programme shall be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test and subsequent interview, the weightage of these components shall be 85% and 15%, respectively.
Fellowships: JRF and AICTE-Doctoral Fellowship schemes are available to selected candidates.
