Anand, 15 February 2021: Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has announced Admission for 20th Fellow Programme in Management (Rural Management). IRMA’s FPM (RM) is a doctoral level programme approved by the All India Councilfor Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized as PhD by Sardar Patel University, Anand.
Key Dates: The closing last date for application is 15 March 2021.
Fellowship: Monthly Fellowship of Rs 25000-28000 & annual contingency grant of Rs 20,000 for 4 years. Only, top 5 candidates in the merit list would be given the scholarship.
Eligibility:
Candidates to the FPM (RM) shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least First Class marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
A relaxation of 5% of marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled candidates. The eligibility marks of First Class (or an equivalent grade ina point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures
Those expecting to complete the final exams of these degrees by July 01, 2021 may also apply.
Qualifying Exam : Applicants should have a valid score/result in any of thequalifying exams: CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-JRF/NET, CSIR-JRF/NET, ICAR-SRF,ICAR/ASRB-NET
FPM (RM) is a doctoral/PhD level research programme in Rural Management leading to the title of “Fellow, Institute of Rural Management, Anand”. It has a minimum residency requirement of three years.
