New Delhi : All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Mytat, a tech-enabled 360-degree skill screening and learning initiative, signed an MOU, recently, to facilitate online learning and skill upgrading in India. Responding to the need for required focus on experiential learning for skill gathering, and now spurred even more by COVID 19 time, the government brought this initiative, forging alliances with capabilities of private companies, to benefit students across all colleges under it.

The objective of this association is to provide a ‘Continuous Learning and evaluation’ programme to measure and improve the employability of millions of students. This will also help educational institutions to understand the industry benchmarks and customize training levels for students accordingly.

Speaking on this collaboration, Rohit Narasimhan, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Mytat and Lrnable Group, said, “We are delighted to be working with AICTE to facilitate and deliver skill mapping and enhancement opportunity through technology across the country. Skill is the new currency and we want to empower the youth with relevant skills, matching their strength and area of interest befitting the industry skill standards. We aim to offer a platform, which is easily accessible and scientifically made, having customised and personalised learning, to improve their employability.”

To successfully complete Mytat’s learning and evaluation programme, students will need to pass its pre-assessments, which assesses skill gaps for upgrading. Then students take up the selected courses through Mytat platform and on completion of relevant skill enhancement/ training modules, they can clear the evaluation assessments, and become industry-ready.

Students can register themselves on the website: https://neat.aicte-india.org/b2b-course-details/NEAT2020629_PROD_4 and begin with the first step of measuring skills.
