New Delhi, 07 March 2021: There are more than 50 Central Universities in India. These universities are popular destination for students pursuing UG, PG and Doctoral Progarmmes. Admission for Academic Year 2021-22 has just started.
As on 07 March 2021, there are four Central Universities which have already announced Admission for PhD Programmes. These include South Asian University and Nalanda University have opened Admission for PG and PhD -2021-22. Meanwhile Tripura University and Jamia Millia Islamia Opened PhD Admisison application portal.

South Asian University New Delhi Announces Admission for PG & PhD Programmes AY 2021-22
New Delhi, 24 February 2021: South Asian University (SAU), an international university established by the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC), has released Notification for Admissions 2021-22.
The university offers Master’s and PhD level programmes in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Economics, International Relations, Legal Studies, (Applied) Mathematics and Sociology.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 23 March 2021.
The Entrance Test will be held on 10 & 11 April 2021.
The classes will begin on 27 July 2021.

Jamia Millia Islamia Delhi Re-Opens Application Portal for PhD Admission 2020-21
New Delhi, 06 March 2021: Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, a Central University and NAAC Accredited Grade ‘A’, has Re-Opened application portal for PhD Programmes 2020-21 for both editing and fresh application.
The application portal will be re-opened till 10 March 2021. The admission test for PhD will tentatively conducted between 20 March 2021 and 31 March 2021 at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi.
Tripura University Announces PhD Admission for 139 Seats ! Decoding Eligibility
Tripura (W), 06 Mar 2021: Tripura University, a Central University, has announced PhD Admission 2021. Admission to the PhD programs will be through Research Eligibility Test (RET-2020) under different departments in the Faculties of Science and Arts & Commerce.
Total PhD Seats: The total number of PhD Seats are 139 across 36 subjects.
Key Dates: The application portal will open from 26th February (midnight) to 26 March 2021 (midnight).
Application Fees: The Application Fees will be as follows (for each programme) –
Requisite Fee for UR / EWS & OBC – Rs. 800.00 (Rupees eight hundred only).
Requisite Fee for SC/ST/PWD – Rs. 600.00 (Rupees six hundred only).
