Patna, 26 June 2021:  National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to PhD Program (Full Time / Part Time) for June-December 2021 Semester. Full Time PhD with scholarship, funded by NIT Patna, is available.

PhD Applications Available at the following Types:

  • Full Time Ph.D Programme
  • Part Time
  • JRF/SRF working at NIT Patna
  • Non-PhD regular Faculty and Faculty appointed on consolidated salary of NIT Patna

Selection Procedure:  A merit list will be prepared based on Academic weightage and performance in the interview. Admission is strictly based on merit subject to verification of documents and original certificates.

Total PhD Vacant Seats for Full Time PhD with scholarship: The total number of total PhD vacant seats for Full Time PhD with scholarship are 56.

Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 22 July 2021, 11:00AM. Online Interview for eligible candidates (Full Time/Part Time/JRF/SRF)- 27 July 2021.

Application fee is Rs 1500/- for General/ OBC/ EWS/Sponsored category and Rs  750/- for SC/ ST/ PwD category.
